For ten years, I've been working as a cinematographer/camera operator in the Chicago area. I'm a budget-conscious dp who truly understands the capabilites of current technologies available in both production and post, saving time and money. Currently, I freelance full time in Chicago and abroad, and I'm always looking for interesting projects.

Documentary / TV
Throughout the past few years I have been shooting an increasing number of documentaries and tv shows. Most recenlty, One of a Kind on Discovery's Velocity Newtork, was shot in late summer os 2011. In 2010, I spent six weeks in Costa Rica filming for a series of web videos about the national park system of Costa Rica as well as online videos for the Ministry of Health in Istanbul, Turkey. In 2008, I photographed an episode of Animal Witness for Animal Planet produced by Towers Productions. I've also shot fundraising documentaries for the Special Olympics, Oklahoma Sate University and Notre Dame High School as well as several TV shows for ABC's Livewell HD Network.

Skills
Much of my experience lies in HD production using cameras made for both ENG and cinema applications, such as: Red Epic, & Red One, Panasonic P2 and Sony XDCAM & EX formats. I'm profficient with Final Cut Pro and Color, and I often color grade the projects I shoot.
